If I could go back to what I was
two years ago maybe
I might be different
than what I am right now
Wandering around a crowded room
Trying to find where I should be
Looking for a sign
in this maze of days and times

(Fly) Fly through life like,
The autumn leaves fall from the sky
(I don’t) I don’t know where they will land
(You love) You love me for who I am
I don’t understand sometimes
(Life turns) around so many corners
I loose You but You find me

I’ve seen rain in the desert
from far away
The wind blown patterns of yesterday
leave shadows that blanket the ground
Can you whisper to me what life
lays right outside your window
you run , try and catch it
but it disappears and leaves you
with only your dreams

(Tired) tired of loosing each time
you think that you’ve won
(Crying) for things that were never there
(Look to) the sunrise when it appears
I pray to heaven for you
(You know) the answeres ahead of time
so when will you believe them

Going around in circles with every step
Searching through pages worn thin
Trying to find, trying to find some clue
I know where you are, I know where you’ve been

Going through the shadows there are cracks in these walls
slices of sunlight shine in
shine in and I see
Pieces of myself what I am
what I used to be
Let me find what I need (repeat)
2nd time: Let me find, let me find what I need

(Fly) Fly through life like,
The autumn leaves fall from the sky
(I don’t) I don’t know where they will land
(You love) You love me for who I am
I don’t understand sometimes
(Life turns) around so many corners
I loose You but You find me
